Forest has been nominated in the Transport Project of the Year category for our bike refurbishment project, an initiative we launched in 2023 to increase the number of our e-bike components that can be repaired and reused. 🚲 Highlights of the project so far include: ⭐Improving our bike repair rate, helping to reduce unnecessary waste from our operations, keep our fleet of bikes on the road, and provide a more sustainable transport option for Londoners. ⭐Partnering with local organisation Root and Shoot, to repurpose our old bike tyres to build playgrounds in London. ⭐Doubling our team and opening a dedicated refurbishment warehouse in Battersea, creating new local jobs for Londoners.
